“Lifetimes of Learning: G.W. Carver and Booker T. Washington,” the new small exhibit on display in the Special Collections through February, is a Black History Month exhibition that examines the lives of two men devoted to education and discovery: George Washington Carver and Booker T. Washington. Highlights include a signed copy of Washington’s autobiography¬†Up From Slavery, correspondence between Carver and his colleagues, and a host of commemorative coins and stamps¬†celebrating the lives of these pioneers of education. This exhibit, curated by the Winter 2016 Special Collections interns, will be on display through the month of February.
