“Lifetimes of Learning: G.W. Carver and Booker T. Washington,” the new small exhibit on display in the Special Collections through February, is a Black History Month exhibition that examines the lives of two men devoted to education and discovery: George Washington Carver and Booker T. Washington. Highlights include a signed copy of Washington’s autobiography Up From Slavery, correspondence between Carver and his colleagues, and a host of commemorative coins and stamps celebrating the lives of these pioneers of education. This exhibit, curated by the Winter 2016 Special Collections interns, will be on display through the month of February.
