Frank Ecoffey letter

L. Tom Perry Special Collections is pleased to announce the availability of a new digitized collection: Frank Ecoffey letter (MSS SC 1191).  This item is a handwritten and signed letter that is in two parts. The first is a request on behalf of Hiram B. Kelly to purchase wagons from the store of Benjamin Mills. The second part is a personal note from Ecoffey to Mills and discusses a visit by his wife to the Mills’ store in Ft. Laramie. Dated June 2, 1868.

Frank Ecoffey was a Swiss emigrant to the Wyoming Territory in the 19th Century and a personal friend of Chief Red Cloud.
