BYU Serials and Newsletters (UA 956)
Every year the various entities that comprise Brigham Young University produce a number of serials and newsletters. These serials and newsletters describe campus events, the activities of various colleges and departments, and provide information about life at Brigham Young University. They are designed to share information and to create a sense of connectedness between the university, students, employees, visitors, and alumni.
The University Archives collects as many of these materials as possible and aggregates them in UA 956 the Serials and Newsletters collection. This collection is divided into two series: I. Closed Serials and Newsletters and II. Open Serials and Newsletters.
The Closed Serials and Newsletters series contains items that are no longer published by the university. Among the many titles in this series are:
- Brigham Young University Bulletin
- Brigham Young University Quarterly
- Collegium Aesculapium
- Messenger
- Records Management Newsletter
- Wye Magazine
The Open Serials and Newsletters series contains items that are currently being published by the university. Among the many titles in this series are:
- BYU Magazine
- BYU Television
- College of Fine Arts and Communications Performance Guide
- Religious Studies Newsletter
- Cougar Mail
- Insight
- President’s Report
- Y News
