About HBLL Science & Engineering
The Science & Engineering Reference Desk is found on the second floor of the library, next to the giant globe.
The Science & Engineering Department provides reference services in using the Science and Map Collections. Our collections include books and serials in both printed and electronic formats. The subjects include the chemical sciences, (chemistry, chemical engineering, food science, nutrition, molecular biology), engineering sciences (civil engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, construction management), life sciences (agronomy, animal sciences, biology, botany, health science, horticulture, medicine, microbiology, nursing, range science, sports medicine, zoology), and physical sciences (astronomy, mathematics, physics, statistics, maps, geography/GIS, and geology).
