Art In The Library

As you walk through the library you will notice that we have a variety of art. There are sculptures in the entry way and on level 2 of the atrium. Many study areas have art on the wall and there are dedicated exhibit areas throughout the building. One of the largest areas is the Auditorium Gallery on level 1. On level 2 the hallway leading to the Family History Library is a very active gallery. One level 3 there is a small exhibit space near the central stairs. On level 4 you will often find student illustrations in the juvenile collection. And recently the library added a small space exhibit on level 5.

Right now you can see the history of art in the library in a special exhibit on level 3 (the level you enter) just behind the eastern security desk. Twelve panels show the work of visiting and student artists who have participated in the Art in the Library program. If you would like to learn more about our past exhibits you can find more information here.
