Literary Worlds: Illumination of the Mind

This August, just in time for education week, the Harold B. Lee Library will open a new exhibition featuring manuscripts by many of the world’s greatest authors. Literary Worlds: Illumination of the Mind will include materials by writers from Alcott to Zane Grey. Manuscripts, correspondence and artworks by Robert Louis Stevenson, Beatrix Potter, William Makepeace Thackeray, Walt Whitman and many more will be featured along with materials by modern authors including local favorite, Doug Thayer, and New York Times best selling author, Orson Scott Card.

These materials are part of the L. Tom Perry Special Collections and are normally preserved in the vaults under the library. The exhibition will be located on level 1 of the library just inside Special Collections. The public is welcome and admission is free.
