Sherlock (PN 1992.8 .D48 S54 2017) starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman is a modern spin on the iconic Sherlock series.  Cumberbatch stars as the infamous and brilliant Sherlock Holmes in modern-day England, with Freeman playing the role of Sherlock Holmes’s partner and friend, Dr. Watson.  This TV-series provides the viewer with a fresh take on Sherlock Holmes, and shows how his art of deduction aids him in modern crime investigation.

This was truly a remarkable first season from the very first episode.  It really gets you hooked in just the first 5 minutes of the show.  Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch are also a dream team, and fit into their roles as Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson flawlessly.  The plot twists and action scenes will leave you on the edge of your seat!
