Movie Review | Miracle in Milan

Miracle in Milan (PN 1995.97 .I7 I73mir 2006) is a heartwarming movie about a one man who makes a difference in many lives. Toto has had quite the tragic life, but he never lets it crush his undying positivity and admiration for the beauty of life. He inspires those living in the shantytown with him to be grateful and to improve their living conditions, when a greedy landowner, Mobbi, threatens to force them to leave town. Through a miracle of events and help from the heavens above, they are able to retain their land.

Although this was an enjoyable movie to watch, it was poorly written and produced. There were many plot holes, poor special effects, and mediocre acting. Despite this, I still found inspiration in Toto’s innocent outlook on life, and how just being grateful for the simple things can make a big difference. I think it was meant to be a moving and dramatic movie, but because some of its features lacked in professionalism, it ended up being a little silly and laughable, this is why I rate it 2 out of 5 stars.
