Movie Review | The Dance

The Dance (PN 1995.98 .L6 D36 2007) is a fun, warming Mormon romance film. The film follows the love stories of three different couples, all at different parts of life and their respective relationships. One couple is a couple of 25 years who gradually learn that their love need not dwindle through trying times. Another couple is one where both the man and woman have had many trying times with relationships in the past and they learn little by little that they too deserve love. The last couple is a younger, newer couple enjoying a new romance while working together to get over their differences and past trials.

This film is a bit cheesy, but each of the three stories shared within it are captivating and fun. I really liked the different relationships that represent such a wide range of relationships. I feel that most anyone could relate to at least one of the characters and his/her relationship. The film makes one think about what matters most in life and relationships. I would recommend this film to anyone looking for a good, uplifting romance film.
