International Harp Archives

AHS Lending Library

The AHS Lending Library, located in the Harold B. Lee Library, contains archive-quality recordings (both audio and audio-visual) of workshops and recitals from past American Harp Society conferences.  There are two ways patrons may access these materials: patrons may view them on-site in the Archives on our provided equipment, or they may request to borrow them.  The Archives do not permit patrons to purchase copies of items unless they are performers or presenters in the requested event.

Viewing/access privileges are reserved for official American Harp Society members only.

To borrow materials:

1.  Use the Audio or Visual Recordings PDFs to determine which item(s) you wish to borrow.

2.  Email your request to david_day@byu.edu.

3.  After the allotted one (1) month lending period, patrons must return the item either in person or through the mail.

For performers/presenters wishing to purchase copies of their event:

1.  Use the Audio or Visual Recordings PDFs to determine which item(s) you wish to purchase.

2.  Email your request to david_day@byu.edu

Borrowing privileges are not solely restricted to local members—the Archives will ship items to out-of-state members through the mail.  In such cases, please allow 2-3 weeks for your order to be processed and shipped.
