Welcome to the BYU Family History Library web portal. This web portal gives you access to hundreds of online family history databases and online training classes without having to come to the library in Provo, Utah. Most of these online resources are free to you and are accessible without restriction from your home computer or electronic device.

A few expensive databases are only accessible from inside the BYU Library due to restrictions set by the database publishers. These few databases are clearly marked as follows: (In-library Only).
