- iPad Checkout Program
iPad Checkout Program
The library has 20 iPads that are available for checkout to BYU students, faculty, and staff. These iPads are held at the Circulation Desk on the 3rd floor of the library. IPads are checked-out on a first come, first served basis, so come to the desk and ask one of the attendants if there are any available iPads. If one is available, you must sign the iPad Loan Agreement and then you may have the iPad for a check-out period of up to 7 days. Each iPad checkout comes with a smart cover, a carrying case, a sync cable, and a power adapter.
Each iPad comes preloaded with a variety of apps including: various web browsers, electronic book readers, research assistants, Microsoft Office, Pages, Numbers, Keynote, iPhoto, PhotoShop, Garageband, Skype, and many others. You may download any apps onto the iPad using a personal AppleID while it is checked out to you, and those will be wiped from the iPad when it is returned. If there are any additional apps you would like to request to be added to the iPads, you can submit those suggestions on the Suggest an App survey right on the iPad.
There are also additional accessories available for check out: VGA adapter, digital AV adapter, composite AV adapter, stylus, and external keyboard
