Library Catalog:
Check the BYU Library Catalog (http://www.lib.byu.edu/).
Click on "Find Books," or simply ask a member of the reference staff for assistance
using the catalog. If you search by "Keyword Search" and the online catalog
informs you that this library does not have any books on your subject, you may
have used the wrong search terms. If this happens, try other search terms (synonyms)
or refer to the Library of Congress Subject Headings books located at most reference
desks. This four-volume set will direct you to terms used to index books on
your subject.
To locate books on the shelves, be sure to note the book’s location (http://www.lib.byu.edu/callno.html),
call number, and whether or not the book is checked out. Ask a member of the
reference staff for assistance.
