Stay, Jesse E. Memoir.
Jesse E. Stay recounts his training and combat experiences from his time in service during World War II. Stay served as a pilot of a B-24 with the 307 th Heavy Bombardment Group in the U.S. Army Air Corps Pacific Theater during World War II from 1941-1945 achieving the rank of Major. He led many attacks on key Japanese targets including bombing raids on Iwo Jima, Midway, Guam, Saipan , and others. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross twice, and received eight Air Medals.

Excerpts from the journal of Rindlisbacher along with commentary from his wife. Rindlisbacher served in the U.S. Navy Pacific Theater during World War II from 1942-1946. He was assigned to the USS Sevier APA 233 and was made operator of landing craft. He achieved the rank of Seaman 1 st Class.

Draper, Rulon P. Military service
Rulon Draper served in the U.S. Marine Corps Pacific Theater during World War II from 1941-1945 as a field cook and member of a Howitzer team. He saw many of the major battles of the Marines in the Pacific, including Iwo Jima, Guadalcanal, Saipan, and Okinawa . He achieved the rank of Mess Sergeant.

Cahoon, Douglas Raymond, 1921-1945.
Biography of Cahoon written by his nephew. Cahoon was a fighter pilot on an aircraft carrier. Describes his involvement in the attacks on Saipan, the Philippines , Formosa , Iowa Jima, Tokyo , and Okinawa . He served in the U.S. Navy 1942-1945. He was listed as missing in action after his airplane was shot down over Okinawa . He achieved the rank of lieutenant, junior grade.

Davis, William E. Saga of the Signet
Davis served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific theater from 1943-1946 as part of Mine Squadron 12. He was present at the battle of Iwo Jima and Okinawa . The Saga of the Signet is the history of Davis ' experiences during World War II aboard the USS Signet, from its departure from the U.S. to victory at Iwo Jima to the end of the War in the Pacific. Also includes a short history of the 12 th Mine Squadron. He achieved the rank of Sonarman 2 nd class.
